Myvegas Loyalty Points 2019
myVEGAS is one of my favorite ways to get FREE rooms, meals, and shows in Las Vegas. The best part is that you don’t have to gamble any real money to do it, and you can earn rewards by playing games from home before your trip!
myVEGAS is a suite of four different slot games that can be played on your phone and/or Facebook. Since we’ve all already forfeited our privacy to Mark Zuckerberg, we might as well reap the benefits; linking your account to Facebook will help you earn more points, and allow you to backup and combine your points from all four games to maximize redemptions. You can download/visit the apps by clicking the convenient links below:

Play to EARN Loyalty Points and more chips. Loyalty Points (gold chip icon) will be used to redeem the free rewards. Click the “Rewards” or the Loyalty Points to see the available rewards and select your choice. With enough Loyalty Points, you can redeem rewards of your choice! The more points you have, the more extravagant the prize. Loyalty Points are gold coins that you earn when playing myVEGAS. Loyalty Points are used to redeem free stuff in Las Vegas. You earn Loyalty Points for simply playing the game. It’s best not to worry how many LP you have until you have greater than 5,000 and can start looking at what rewards to go after. As you play you don’t make money but you earn Loyalty Points (LP), released in sets of 10; to play, you need ‘chips’, which are free to get easily (keep reading): you can use those ‘free chips’ (which you can accumulate in various ways, explained below) to play and you will amass loyalty points you can use to redeem free Vegas rooms (with a ‘catch’, as we explain further down), free Vegas buffets, free drinks and other ‘gifts’ from various MGM resorts (in Las Vegas). And also know that if you are playing to amass loyalty points (the gold coins) you don't need to bet the highest amount possible. 3,000 per spin up to level 58, then 1,500 per spin will give you the most loyalty points for the least amount of expenditure.
- POP! Slots (iOS/Android/Facebook)
- myKONAMI Slots (iOS/Android/Facebook)
- myVEGAS Slots (iOS/Android/Facebook)
- myVEGAS Blackjack (iOS/Android/Facebook)
The points you earn through gameplay can be redeemed for a variety of comps through various partners, including MLife resorts. This includes the following casino/hotels in Las Vegas:
- Aria
- Bellagio
- Circus Circus
- Excalibur
- Luxor
- Mandalay Bay
- Mirage
- MGM Grand
- New York New York
- Park MGM
- Vdara
These comps range from discounted rooms and BOGO buffet deals, all the way to free show tickets and free nights (minus the resort fee). Comps vary by hotel, as does pricing.
You will play games using myVEGAS chips, denoted by the blue V. These are what you will wager and win/lose on each game. You will receive a large chip bonus once each day that you sign into a game; if you sign in for consecutive days, these bonus chips will be multiplied. There are also smaller bonuses that can be collected every two hours (after redeeming the BONUS, a countdown timer will appear), as well as gifts that may appear in your inbox if you send/receive chips from friends through Facebook.
There will be multiple pop ups that will offer you deals on chip packages for purchase. You can do these if you would like, but you do not have to! I’ve never made any in-app purchases, and I have still redeemed multiple comps.
As you play, you earn Loyalty Points (LPs), which are denoted by the gold coins with a V on them. There should be a display in the middle of the top bar that shows how many LPs you have collected. These are what you will redeem for comps.
In this screenshot from an ill-fated blackjack run, I have 67,818 LPs and 667 coins.
The bar on the left indicates the progress towards the next disbursement of LPs. The sliding meter will fill with each bet, and after you reach the end, the level on the coin will increase. Once the coin gets full, they will float up to the balance in the top bar. The meters will fill faster the more chips that you’re betting, but be careful not to run out of chips like I did, or you can’t earn any LPs until you get more chips!
The best strategy to maximize your LP earnings is to bet as many chips as you can. Some of the games offer challenges, which can help you earn more chips and/or LPs when you complete them.
Signing in daily and maintaining your streak will ensure that you get the most possible chips, which will help you earn LPs faster.
One counterintuitive option once you’ve got a decent amount of LPs accumulated is to not play for a prolonged period. I (and many members of the myVEGAS Friends Rock Facebook Group) have experienced a glitch/feature (nobody is sure if it’s intentional) where if you uninstall the app and don’t play for a couple of months, your LPs skyrocket. This happened to me when I jumped from 40,000 to 160,000 LPs after not playing for 3 months. Your mileage may vary.
You can redeem your Loyalty Points for comps by selecting the “Rewards” menu on the bottom of the screen. Here, you can browse by property, price, or categories. Looking around here can be useful, as it will give you an idea of how many LPs you need to earn for your desired comps.
The rewards are restocked periodically; usually between 10am and 2pm CST. So if a reward you want is sold out, keep checking back daily until it’s available. I was able to secure the popular LOVE comp ticket after checking obsessively for a few days, so don’t give up!
Before purchasing a reward, be sure to read the terms and conditions. There are often blackout dates or additional requirements (like staying at an M Life property or spending a certain amount). It will also list the expiration date, and how long you have from “purchasing” the reward to needing to redeem it.
You will need an M Life card in your name to redeem any rewards.
If you purchase a reward and are unable to use it, you can go to your “wallet” in the app and return it, and you will receive your LPs back.
I am a member of the myVEGAS Friends Rocks group on Facebook, which has tons of useful information geared towards optimal myVEGAS earning and redemption. It is a closed group, however you shouldn’t have any difficulty getting accepted.
I highly recommend joining if you’d like to maximize your value from myVEGAS rewards; they are a treasure trove of knowledge, experience, and expertise, and know far more than I do!
I have redeemed loyalty points for the following rewards:
- LOVE Comp Ticket (80,000 LPs): I had to check for a few days, but I was finally able to get this popular reward. It was very worth it, and I received a completely free ticket for LOVE in Section 209, Row S, Seat 34. I clicked through the link sent by myVEGAS, ordered it through M Life, and did not have to pay any fees. Excuse my pun, but I loved this show.
- KA Comp Ticket (40,000 LPs) This reward was easier to get, and after spending the bulk of the show vacillating between wanting to sleep, get up and leave, or drink more, I see why. I was not a fan of KA. However, the redemption process was smooth. Just like my LOVE ticket, I was able to easily order my comped ticket through M Life without any fees.
The phrase “There’s no such thing as a free lunch” is particularly applicable when it comes to gambling. Under normal circumstances, you need to take greater risks in order to earn outsized rewards (or losses). As a frugal gambler, it can be difficult to hit the right balance between entertainment and value. Thankfully, there is a way that you can earn free rewards like complimentary hotel stays, match play, free slot play, drinks, and dining credits without ever spending a dollar of your own money. How? The Facebook game/mobile app MyVegas.
How MyVegas Works
The company that runs MyVegas (Playstudios) created the game in an effort to get people to buy virtual chips in their online casino. They partnered with the huge gambling conglomerate, MGM, to offer up rewards at their casinos to entice MyVegas players into doing so. It seems like a bit of a win-win, since Playstudios gets their revenue from virtual chip purchases, and MGM gets players in the door at their properties. As a player, however, this arrangement can benefit you as well. The reason? You never actually have to buy anything to earn rewards. If you plan ahead and you’re patient, you can get a huge amount of value and use your rewards at arguably the best casino in Atlantic City: The Borgata.
Where To Start
MyVegas is free to play, and you can play the Facebook version here or, alternatively, you can download the MyVegas App to your mobile device via the Google Play Store or on Apple. There are also some additional apps as well which include MyVegas Blackjack, Pop Slots, and Konami Slots. Note that your loyalty points will synchronize across every game, so if you run out of chips to play on one app, you can move to another. I use this strategy so that I don’t have to purchase chips to great effect, and it helps to earn Loyalty Points Faster.
Earning Loyalty Points
In case you’re wondering why loyalty points matter, let me tell you: Loyalty points are what you redeem to get the rewards I described in my introduction (Hotel comps, free slot play, etc.). The more points you have, the more rewards you’re able to get (some limitations apply, which I’ll describe below). You earn loyalty points simply by playing any of the MyVegas Facebook games/apps. The higher your wager in virtual chips, the quicker you’ll earn Loyalty Points.

Basic MyVegas Strategy For Earning
As a basic strategy, you should login to the Facebook game and each app to earn your daily chips (you earn an extra chip bonus for logging in on consecutive days). You can then choose the game of your choice, play your chips down, then rinse and repeat until you’ve exhausted all of your options. Using this strategy, you should be able to generate at least a few thousand loyalty points per day. Once you’ve amassed enough loyalty, you’re ready to spend them! Listed below are the rewards that are currently available.
Spending Loyalty Points: Available Rewards
While you have a plethora of options to choose from when it comes to redeeming awards in Las Vegas, you’ll have one option in Atlantic City. Thankfully, these rewards are at the Borgata, which is arguably the best choice for a stay in AC. Note that these rewards do change from time to time and availability can vary by season. You’ll also need an active “Mlife” account, which is MGM’s rewards program. Keep in mind that you can only redeem 3 rewards in a given time period (Usually 60 days). Here are your reward options at present:

$10 Slot Dollars
This is a great option for a cheap gambler like myself who doesn’t play slots often. After redemption, they will load $10 onto your Mlife rewards account.
$25 Match Play
Myvegas Loyalty Points Daily Limit
If you’re not familiar, match play works like this: The casino will give you a slip of paper which allows you to make a “2 for 1” bet at most table games. For this match play, you’ll need to bet $25 of your own money. If you win, the casino will pay you as if it were a $50 bet instead. Not bad, right?!
2 Free Comedy Tickets
Myvegas Free Loyalty Points
I can’t comment on the quality of the shows, but this rewards entitles you to 2 complimentary club tickets.
2 For 1 Sandwich
At Borgata’s casual restaurant “Bread and Butter,” you’ll be able to buy 2 sandiwches for the price of one.
1 Complimentary Beverage
This entitles you to a free alcoholic beverage at Borgata Long Bar, B Bar, or Gypsy Bar. IMPORTANT NOTE: I’ve ran into all sorts of confusion and trouble trying to redeem this at Long Bar. My recommendation is to use this at “B Bar” instead, as the bartenders there seem to understand how it actually works.
$25 to Fine Dining
This is a free $25 credit to your bill at any of Borgata’s more upscale restaurants. My favorite way to use this reward is at Izakaya, which is Japanese fare. Sit at the bar and order some apps and a drink if you don’t want to break the bank with a large dinner tab.

This is a very seasonal option, so don’t expect to see this one in the Summer. That said, this is unquestionably the most valuable standalone reward, even if you do have to go during the week to redeem it.

How to redeem MyVegas rewards in Atlantic City
Once you’ve redeemed your rewards in the MyVegas app, you can head over to the Mlife rewards desk at the Borgata. They’ll load any applicable awards onto your Mlife card.
